First European NVIDIA RAPIDS Test Drive Program

Posted on 10 June, 2019

The first European NVIDIA RAPIDS Test Drive Program is now open to customers and data scientists looking to accelerate and scale out their frameworks working in Python.

GPU computing is revolutionising data science with RAPIDS, a powerful new suite of open source software for executing end-to-end data science training pipelines. It’s all done completely in the GPU, reducing training time from hours to minutes.

What is Rapids?

RAPIDS is customisable, extensible, and interoperable. Plus, this open-source software is supported by NVIDIA and built on Apache Arrow. GPU-accelerate your data science with RAPIDS and experience:
  • Lower compute infrastructure costs
  • Increased machine learning model accuracy by iterating on models faster and deploying them more frequently
  • More productivity by accelerating data preparation and machine learning model training, with no new tools to learn
  • Deployment flexibility—in the cloud or on-prem—and easy scalability from a workstation to multi-GPU servers to multi-node clusters
