Intelligent Health, Basel came and went, and what an event it was!
Boston were a Silver event partner at this years Intelligent Health, which took place on 7th - 8th September, and were pleased to be sponsored by Supermicro, Intel and SoftIron.
Hearing all the innovative approaches to better the well-being of humanity through AI was nothing short of inspiring. We also had the privilege to listen to presentations about the most recent medical studies and breakthroughs from the brightest minds of the healthcare and medical AI field - along with speakers from the United Nations and the World Health Organisation. If you stopped by stand C20 you would have heard our team speak on behalf of Boston Medical Solutions to progress discussion about how AI can be used to prevent and solve some of the world's greatest healthcase problems, improve the health of the human race, and set the global AI agenda in healthcare. Our engineers at Boston are using computer vision techniques to uncover anomalies with high accuracy and contribute to saving lives.
Our very own Amos Ankrah and Andrew Addison also had their limelight during their tech talk. They touched on the necessity of combining the right hardware with the right software for the job to keep everything optimised and efficient.

Having been the only event partner to bring hardware to the show we received quite a lot of intrigued looks and it prompted great conversations with people from all walks of life. In most cases, the attendees came from a medical or a software background.
We hope to attend next year to see what the future holds for healthcare!
